Water Purification with Ozone

I was tasked with writing an article a couple months ago about water filters, and water purification, and in my research I came across information and products that use electrolytic Ozone to kill off germs and help purify your water.

Ozone is used in many industries including bottled water as a purification method.

Electrolytic Ozone is where the Ozone is actually created using the water itself, instead of just pumping the Ozone through it. This according to the company Roving Blue means a more thorough saturation, thus a better job of making the water safe.

Since the Ozone dissipates from the water there is no chemical aftertaste.

Ozone is a substance allowed in the production of organic products.

The Ozone producing products while not inexpensive may have uses for preppers who want to make the investment in this type of water purification.

Ozone is effective against this partial listing of microbes:

Bacillus anthracis (Anthrax)
Cholera
Cryptosporidium
Giardia
Influenza
Poliovirus (Poliomyelitis)
Salmonella paratyphi (Enteric Fever)
Streptococcus faecalis
Bacteriophage (E. Coli)
Dysentery bacilli (Diarrhea)
Hepatitis
Legionella pneumophilia (Legionnaires’ Disease)
Salmonella (food poisoning)
Salmonella typhosa (Typhoid Fever)
Tuberculosis

First up we have:

The O-Pen
The O-Pen is a USB rechargeable personal size unit that can go with you anywhere in the world. The unit is perfect for treating questionable water wherever life may take you.

The O-Pen will purify appox. 16 oz. (.5L) of water in 1 minute with about 50 uses per charge.

The second item is:

The Ozo-Pod 10 is a kitchen sized Ozone treatment product.

You can use it for treating your water just like the O-Pen, but the Ozo-Pod can also be used for treating fruits, veggies and other foods you want to clean before use.

Again Ozone treatment is allowed in organic farming so you are bringing advanced cleaning technology into your home for the well being of your family.

Roving Blue has more products available on Amazon and they might just fit into your prepping plans.

To Mask or Not to Mask? That is the Question.

I have avoided taking sides in this debate.

I have friends and family who are working on the front lines of this crisis and I have other friends and family who have watched a youtube video or two.

So what is a Christian supposed to do?

Do we demand our rights to not wear a mask or do we feebly submit to an overreaching bureaucracy?

My friend Jeremiah J. Wright wrote what I think is a very accurate blog post about what our attitude as Christians should be toward wearing masks.

Jeremiah J. Wright Untitled Post About Masks

I hope you find it an interesting read.
